Designed to target squid and cuttlefish that are less aggressive than their Japanese counterparts, it offers a softer and more progressive action, perfectly suited to subtle and controlled animations. Its remarkable resonance transmits the slightest bite, while retaining sufficient power reserve to set the hook effectively at great depth.
Balanced and responsive, the TR 68 MH excels at animating Egi Type Run sizes 3.0 to 3.5 (up to 45 g), and proves devastating in vertical Tataki fishing with Ika Metal (up to 120 g). A true extension of the arm, it allows fine bite detection and total line control, even in strong currents. Finally, its fairly rounded action will help limit squid drop-offs during the retrieve.
