Description
The Daiwa Ballistic 25 HD reel has been designed for demanding anglers seeking reliable and high-performance tackle when targeting powerful fish — whether at sea or in fresh water.
Construction and robustness
- The monocoque aluminium body ensures optimal rigidity and resistance while keeping weight under control.
- The "Air Rotor" in Zaion V carbon composite minimises inertia while maintaining solidity and balance, guaranteeing constant rotational smoothness even under heavy stress.
Performance and ease of use
- High-power front drag (10 to 12 kg depending on the version), suited to intense fights against large predators.
- Quality bearings (6 + 1, including 1 CRBB) for smooth and reliable rotation.
- LC-ABS (Long Cast) aluminium spool optimised for long casting distances — a real advantage for lure fishing.
- Removable aluminium handle, grip adapted according to version (classic "T" for most, round aluminium for "ARK" versions), for optimal comfort depending on use.
Recommended use
The Ballistic 25 HD is perfectly suited to lure or bait casting for large predators such as sea bass, pike, zander, barracuda, bonito or other powerful fish.
Available in several sizes (3000 to 5000), it adapts to different types of fishing — from light casting to heavier fishing at sea or in inland waters.
Why choose it?
The Daiwa Ballistic 25 HD stands out for its excellent compromise between robustness, lightness and power. Its carefully engineered architecture (monocoque body, carbon rotor, efficient drag) makes it particularly suited to technical and demanding fishing. It will suit anglers looking for a durable, reliable reel capable of handling large fish, while offering comfort and casting precision.
