The Emeraldas Boat Casting was developed specifically for squid and cuttlefish fishing from a boat in casting configuration. Its design addresses the demands of vertical and drifting techniques, where rig control and bite detection are paramount.
Sensitivity and control during retrieves
The finesse of the blank, combined with marked tip sensitivity, allows the most discreet bites to be detected. Its progressive, semi-parabolic action perfectly accompanies cephalopods on the retrieve, effectively limiting hook pulls, while offering excellent comfort during fishing.
Models suited to deep-water fishing
Tataki
Tataki models are designed for classic vertical fishing with paternoster rigs, allowing the use of weights up to 100 g, covering the majority of situations encountered when boat fishing.
Deep Sensitive
The Deep Sensitive version extends the range of use up to 150 g, ideal for fishing in very deep areas, beyond 50 metres, where maintaining contact with the rig is essential.
Optimal visibility and on-board comfort
The solid white tip, complemented by orange whippings at the end, ensures excellent visibility for reading bites, even in low light or rough seas. The rear EVA grip effectively protects the rod butt when placed in a holder, a notable advantage during extended drifts.
