The Rapala Soft Peto is the 100 percent soft version of the legendary X-Rap Peto, delivering a powerful and realistic swimming action with great rigging freedom. Its versatility and high attractiveness make it a formidable lure for triggering strikes from predators, even the most wary.
The Soft Peto faithfully recreates the iconic action of the X-Rap Peto and transposes it into a fully soft lure. This evolution brings increased versatility, allowing a wide variety of rigs to be explored and the presentation to be precisely adapted to fishing conditions and fish behavior.
Fitted with a wide-action tail, the Soft Peto maintains an effective swimming action at all retrieve speeds. The natural rolling of the body combined with the tail beat generates strong visual and vibratory signals capable of provoking decisive strikes both when prospecting and during slower fishing.
Its construction in soft plastic with a textured skin displaces more water, noticeably increasing the vibrations perceived by predators. This vibratory signature helps attract fish from a distance and maintain their interest throughout the retrieve.
The Soft Peto features a 3D scale-imitating finish, giving it a highly realistic appearance in the water. The color schemes have been carefully selected to maximize effectiveness in different light and turbidity conditions, delivering consistent and convincing visual attractiveness.
