Blade Blaster ILLEX – Versatile bladed jig for cluttered areas
A hybrid design built for effectiveness
Jointly developed by Marc Ptacovsky and Thomas Vogels, the Blade Blaster combines the best of two worlds. It adopts the head shape of the Swim-Jig Jungle Blaster, recognized for its ability to clear obstacles and penetrate weedbeds, while integrating an exclusive metal blade generating powerful vibrations.
Active swimming action from the moment it hits the water
The blade immediately springs into action and transmits intense attractive signals to the large silicone skirt. The lure becomes highly vibrating on a simple retrieve, making it particularly effective for slowly prospecting shallow, heavily vegetated areas.
Robustness and modularity at the angler's service
The skirt is firmly secured by a stainless steel wire tie, guaranteeing excellent resistance against repeated pike strikes. An eyelet positioned under the head allows the addition of an extra blade or an ILLEX John Weight ballast to precisely adjust the swimming depth.
Adaptable to conditions and species
The Blade Blaster easily accepts a soft trailer to increase volume and lift. It combines perfectly with pin-tails, shads or crayfish, allowing the action and profile of the lure to be adapted to each situation. Primarily designed for pike, it also proves deadly on perch, largemouth bass, zander and catfish.
