Spinning rod SHIMANO Sedona AS Trout Area

A rod dedicated to Area fishing

Specially designed for ultra-light fishing

The Sedona AS perfectly meets the demands of Area fishing, a finesse technique requiring precision and sensitivity. It allows you to fully exploit the potential of micro-lures, particularly spinners and small crankbaits.

Natural and effective lure action

Thanks to its semi-parabolic action, this rod brings the lightest lures to life, encouraging a natural and attractive action, even at very slow speeds.

Fine and high-performance carbon blank

Optimal lightness and sensitivity

The Full Carbon blank offers a remarkable feeling of lightness, while ensuring excellent information transmission. Every bite is felt with precision, even during very subtle animations.

Casting precision and distance

Its design allows good casting distances to be achieved with very light lures, while maintaining great precision, essential in Area fishing.

Comfort and control in combat

Head shake absorption

The soft action effectively absorbs rushes and head shakes from trout, limiting hook pulls and securing fights with light lines.

Balance and ergonomics

The rod remains perfectly balanced in hand, offering optimal comfort during long technical fishing sessions.

Equipment suited for light lines

Lightweight and tangle-free guides

Seaguide XOHG guides ensure excellent management of fine braids, reducing the risk of tangles and improving casting fluidity.

Ergonomic handle

The specific reel seat, combined with a composite cork and EVA handle, ensures a precise and comfortable grip.
