A rod specially designed for Area Trout Fishing
The Trout One Area Special was developed to meet the demands of reservoir and technical water trout fishing. It is optimised for the use of spoons and micro-lures requiring great casting precision and perfectly controlled animation.
Its design allows ultra-light lures to be cast with precision while maintaining excellent control of trajectory and swimming action.
Hi-Power X blank for precision and stability
The blank is constructed from high-technology carbon incorporating Shimano's Hi-Power X structure. This technology limits blank twist during casting and improves energy transmission.
It thus offers more precise casts, better stability and increased control during fights with fish.
Softtube Top technology for maximum sensitivity
The rod is fitted with a Softtube Top tip designed to maximise bite detection. This design improves blank responsiveness and allows the most subtle takes to be felt immediately.
It also facilitates quick hook sets while maintaining a progressive and forgiving action, essential for securing fights with trout.
Parabolic action for better fish control
The Trout One Area Special develops a fluid parabolic action that works along the entire length of the blank. This progressive curve effectively absorbs the rushes and head shakes of the fish.
