The Saikou DSC A8 was developed for anglers looking for a rod capable of casting long distances while maintaining great sensitivity. Its very lightweight high-modulus carbon construction reduces overall weight while maintaining excellent power reserve.

Its mid progressive action facilitates loading during the cast and offers good control of the rig during animation and retrieval.

Lightweight and responsive high-modulus carbon blank

The SlimS blank in super light high modulus carbon provides an excellent compromise between lightness, stiffness and power. This construction generates powerful casts while maintaining good comfort during long fishing sessions.

The rod is optimised for the use of sinkers in an ideal range of 100 to 150 g, while being able to handle heavier rigs if necessary.

Hybrid tip for improved bite detection

The Saikou DSC A8 is fitted with a hybrid tip combining solid carbon and a tubular structure. This configuration improves sensitivity and makes bite detection easier, even the most subtle ones.

The reflective marking on the tip also improves bite visibility, particularly during night fishing.

Reliable and durable Fuji equipment

The rod is fitted with Fuji Low Rider guides designed to optimise line flow and improve casting distance while limiting the risk of tangles.

The Fuji DPS reel seat provides solid and comfortable hold of the reel. A padded transport bag is also supplied to protect the rod during transport.
