The Saikou DSC A16 is a three-section rod developed for surfcasting. Its design prioritizes lightness and sensitivity while retaining good casting power.
Its regular action combined with a slim blank delivers a rod that is pleasant to use and easy to handle, ideal for long beach fishing sessions.
Extra slim high-modulus carbon blank
The Extra SlimS blank is made from super high-modulus carbon, offering an excellent combination of lightness, rigidity and responsiveness. This construction enables powerful and precise casts while maintaining excellent balance.
The slim blank also improves vibration transmission and bite detection.
Hybrid tip for precise detection
The Saikou DSC A16 is fitted with a short hybrid solid carbon tip. This configuration makes it easy to detect even the most subtle bites while retaining good casting capacity.
The tip also features a reflective marking, making it easier to read bites during night fishing.
