The Saikou DSC A12 is a three-section rod developed for surfcasting. Its design aims to offer an excellent compromise between casting power, sensitivity, and comfort of use.
Its mid progressive action allows effective loading of the rod during the cast and propels rigs to a good distance while maintaining good control.
High-modulus carbon blank for lightness and power
The SlimS blank is made from super high-modulus carbon, a material that provides rigidity, lightness, and responsiveness. This construction achieves powerful and precise casts while maintaining good balance during use.
The rod is optimised for the use of leads in an ideal range of 100 to 130 g, while retaining a maximum power of 250 g.
Hybrid tip for optimal bite detection
The Saikou DSC A12 is equipped with a long hybrid solid carbon tip that greatly improves sensitivity. This configuration allows the perception of the most subtle bites, particularly during delicate fishing sessions.
The flexible tip works progressively and facilitates reading of line movements, which improves take detection.
Reliable and high-performance Fuji equipment
The rod is equipped with Fuji Low Rider guides designed to optimise line release and improve casting distance while limiting tangles.
The Fuji DPS reel seat ensures solid reel mounting and excellent comfort of use. A padded transport case is also provided to protect the rod during transport.
