Description
Megabass Levante F5.1/2 74 LV Sleeper Contact casting rod
The Megabass Levante F5.1/2 74 LV Sleeper Contact is a casting rod specially developed for deep contact fishing. Its Fast action combined with Medium Heavy+ power offers the responsiveness needed to precisely feel the bottom, detect bites and maintain optimal lure control.
It is particularly aimed at largemouth bass and perch anglers fishing deep-water areas, structures and covered spots.
Sensitive and reactive High Density X-Graphite blank
The Levante Sleeper Contact features a High Density X-Graphite blank, designed to provide high sensitivity and excellent torsional rigidity.
This construction promotes information transmission to the angler's hand. Changes in substrate, contact with structure and subtle bites are therefore more easily perceptible, a decisive advantage when the lure moves slowly near the bottom.
Its power reserve also allows for strong hooksets and maintaining control during fights, particularly when fish are moving close to structure.
A rod designed for bottom fishing
The Levante F5.1/2 74 LV Sleeper Contact is particularly suited to using the Megabass Dark Sleeper and the Sleeper Craw, but its versatility allows it to handle many rigs designed for contact fishing.
It is particularly suited for:
• Dark Sleeper
• Sleeper Craw
• Soft swimbaits
• Rubber jigs
• Texas rigs
• Free rigs
• High-density soft lures
Its fast action allows for maintaining precise control during slow animations and reacting immediately to the slightest bite.
Casting distance and deep-water control
The length of this Levante Sleeper Contact promotes long-distance casting, an asset for reaching drop-offs, submerged structures and other distant spots.
It thus allows for effectively covering deep-water areas while maintaining enough precision to keep the lure in contact with the bottom. Its Fast action also facilitates freeing the rig when it encounters an obstacle and provides the power needed to effectively transmit the hookset at distance.
