Description
Nays WRRR XS, a compact and versatile bladed jig
The Nays WRRR XS takes the WRRR concept in a particularly compact version, suited to light fishing and situations where predators respond better to a subtle presentation. Its metal blade quickly generates pronounced vibrations in the water, allowing effective prospecting through different water columns.
Its reduced profile is perfectly suited to targeting perch, chub, trout, or even bass. It is also an interesting option when fish are focused on small prey.
A blade designed to pass more easily through vegetation
The WRRR XS stands out with its stainless steel blade fitted with a solid ring. This design makes it easy to attach a snap or tie the line directly.
It also limits the accumulation of plant debris around the attachment point. The lure thus maintains a cleaner swimming action in areas cluttered with weed beds, allowing anglers to effectively prospect zones where predators regularly take refuge.
A slim profile for small trailers
This XS version features a deliberately lightened skirt to keep the overall profile compact and allow slim trailers to work to their full potential. The strands add volume and extra movement without masking the action of the associated soft lure.
The spiral retention system firmly secures the trailer while preserving its freedom of movement. This design is particularly effective during dynamic retrieves and changes of pace.
Multiple retrieve options
The Nays WRRR XS can be used with a straight retrieve to cover an area quickly, but also with a stop-and-go retrieve to trigger attractive changes of pace. It can also be worked with a jigging action to explore drop-offs, structures, and areas close to the bottom.
This versatility makes it a bladed jig well suited to both prospecting and more precise fishing when predators have been located.
