The Abu Garcia Revo X VoltiQ builds on the proven foundation of the Revo X range by incorporating a major innovation: the VoltiQ electronic braking system. This technology analyzes spool rotation during the cast and precisely adjusts the braking to optimize its behavior.

The goal is to achieve casts that are easier to control, to limit backlashes, and to effectively exploit the reel's capabilities in different fishing conditions.

VoltiQ technology, intelligent electronic braking

The main distinctive feature of the Revo X VoltiQ lies in its VoltiQ system, capable of tracking spool rotation to finely adjust the braking level.

This electronic management offers a wide range of adjustments and allows the reel to be adapted to the different lures used. It provides more control when conditions change or when the angler alternates between several techniques during the same session.

The system thus makes it possible to find an excellent compromise between casting distance and spool control, while reducing the risk of backlashes.

Lightweight and rigid C6 frame

Abu Garcia equips the Revo X VoltiQ with a C6 carbon frame combined with an asymmetric body and the EXD concept. This architecture aims to combine rigidity, lightness, and handling comfort.

The reel thus retains a construction suited to regular use for predator fishing, particularly for targeting pike and bass with various lure families.

Smooth and durable mechanics

The Revo X VoltiQ features 7 stainless steel ball bearings complemented by 1 roller bearing. These mechanics ensure smooth rotation and effectively support the different retrieval phases.

The Duragear Gen II gear system is designed to ensure reliable and durable power transmission, even when the reel is regularly put under stress.

Carbon Matrix drag and aluminum handle

To handle fish during the fight, Abu Garcia uses its Carbon Matrix drag system, appreciated for its smooth progressiveness.

The bent aluminum handle is equipped with oversized grips that promote a firm hold. It provides appreciable control during lure retrieval as well as when fighting predatory fish.

The Revo X VoltiQ is available in two gear ratios. The 6.7:1 version retrieves 69 cm of line per handle turn, while the 7.3:1 version reaches 76 cm.
