VARIVAS Nogales Inch Hook Texas-rig hook

Nogales Inch Hook, an ultra-thin Texas-rig hook for finesse fishing

The Nogales Inch Hook is a Texas-rig hook specially developed for rigging small soft plastics and ultralight fishing techniques. Its exceptionally thin wire offers excellent penetration on the strike while minimizing the effect of the hook on the lure’s swimming action.

Designed for anglers seeking precision and subtlety, this hook is well suited to Texas and Carolina rigs. It lets you fish effectively around cover while maintaining a natural presentation for soft plastics.

Ultra-thin wire for better hooksets

The defining feature of the Nogales Inch Hook is its ultra-thin wire, measuring just 0.58 mm in diameter.

Its thin wire helps the point penetrate on the hookset, even with low-power rods and light line. This is a significant advantage for finesse techniques, where subtlety and sensitivity are essential.

Its compact profile also preserves the flexibility and freedom of movement of small lures, promoting an especially natural presentation.

Ideal for Texas and Carolina rigs

The Nogales Inch Hook is particularly well suited to techniques requiring subtle, precise rigs.

• Texas rig, for fishing weed beds, obstacles and heavy cover with less risk of snagging.
• Carolina rig, for presenting a small soft plastic with plenty of freedom of movement near the bottom.
• Ultralight fishing, for fishing small soft plastics effectively with light rods.
• Finesse fishing, for targeting wary predatory fish with a subtle, natural presentation.

Its design preserves excellent lure movement while providing a hook suited to technical fishing methods.

Three sizes to suit small soft plastics

The Nogales Inch Hook comes in three sizes to suit the different soft plastics used in finesse fishing.

This range lets you choose a hook sized to the lure without compromising its flexibility or swimming action.

It is an excellent choice for anglers who practice rockfishing, ultralight fishing and freshwater finesse techniques.
