Advice from our team of enthusiasts

Animation

• On a straight retrieve, cast and reel in and the lure will perform a tight "S" swimming action.
• By jerking broadly and slowly with the rod, the lure will make wide lateral movements. Give it time to "glide" fully before animating again.
• By giving quick short twitches of the rod tip or quarter turns of the reel handle, the lure will swim almost in place with small lateral movements.

As for color, as a general rule, the starting point will be the environment. The clearer it is, the more natural colors you should use; the more opaque it is, the more flashy colors or dark shades, even going as far as black. This is a base that will need to be adjusted day by day.
