The Decoy SV-61 Salt Special jig head is a lightweight jig head designed for finesse fishing in saltwater, particularly for ajing techniques (lanzón/amberjack fishing in Japan) and light soft lure fishing targeting sea bass, mullet and other coastal species. Its design is inspired by Japanese light lure fishing techniques.
"Salt Special" design for saltwater
The Decoy Salt Special range is specifically developed to resist corrosion in saltwater. The metals used are treated against oxidation to guarantee extended durability despite repeated exposure to seawater, salt and moisture. This corrosion resistance is all the more important for hooks that must maintain a sharp point over time.
Finesse hook for light soft lures
The size 2 and the light weight of 1/8oz (approximately 3.5g) position this model for slim soft lures (ajits, small shads, thin worms) in shallow water or calm coastal areas.
