Description

Big Bandit by CWC / Strike Pro

With its 19.6 cm, the Big Bandit by CWC / Strike Pro is the "maxi" version of the famous Buster Jerk — the top choice when predators are targeting large prey. This technical yet very easy-to-work lure stands out for its perfect balance, realistic finish and erratic action. It is a search lure that allows you to work a spot thoroughly depending on the configuration of the swim.

Key features

  • Swimming depth: 1–2 m
  • Swims with lateral darts of varying amplitude depending on the action
  • High-quality finish and varied colours
  • Triple hooks #2/0
  • Ultra robust

Tips from our team of enthusiasts

The action

  • On a straight retrieve, cast and reel in and the lure will perform a nice, fairly tight "S" swim.
  • By jerking broadly and slowly with the rod, the lure will make wide lateral darts. Give it time to "glide" properly before working it again.
  • By giving quick short twitches with the rod tip or quarter-turns of the handle, the lure will swim almost on the spot with small darting movements.

Colour

Our team's choice:

  • For clear water: C384
  • For murky water: C683

As for colour, as a general rule, the starting point will be the conditions. The clearer the water, the more natural tones you should use; the murkier it is, the more you should go for flashy or dark shades, even going as far as black. This is a base that will need to be adjusted day by day.

If you have any questions regarding the choice of a rod, the rigs suited to your fishing area, the type of line (monofilament, braid, fluorocarbon) to use on your reel, feel free to contact us through our website, by phone or by visiting our Ardent Pêche store directly.
