The Lew's Mach 1 SLP is a second-generation baitcasting reel designed to deliver excellent smoothness, both on the cast and during retrieval. It is aimed at anglers looking for a reliable, intuitive and high-performing model for lure fishing.
Its compact SLP profile improves grip and allows you to fish comfortably during long sessions, with good balance on versatile casting setups.
A lightweight design for all-day fishing
The one-piece graphite frame, combined with graphite side plates, keeps the reel lightweight and pleasant to use. This construction offers a good balance between comfort, robustness and maneuverability.
The integrated drainage ports help evacuate water, which enhances the practicality of the reel in difficult or wet fishing conditions.
Precise and durable mechanics
The Mach 1 SLP features reinforced copper Speed Gears, machined on high-precision Hamai CNC machines. These mechanics ensure a consistent, smooth and durable retrieval, even during repeated animations or intense fights.
The premium double-shielded stainless steel bearing system, combined with the Zero Reverse anti-reverse, ensures excellent operational stability and good hookset responsiveness.
Complete braking system for controlled casting
The MSB system, Multi-Setting Brake, combines external magnetic adjustment and internal centrifugal brakes. This dual brake management allows you to precisely adjust the spool's behavior according to the lure used, the wind and the desired casting distance.
