The SG8 Baitcast features a one-piece aluminium frame with EDP-painted aluminium side plates. This design provides excellent rigidity, good long-term resistance and improved mechanical stability during hard retrieves or fights.

The separate stainless steel reel seat enhances the overall reliability, while the brass line guide shaft contributes to the durability of the mechanism. This solid construction makes it possible to effectively target a wide range of predators, such as pike, largemouth bass, zander, perch or trout.

Precise cast control

Depending on the chosen size, the SG8 Baitcast features an internal or external centrifugal brake system. Size 100 integrates an internal centrifugal brake, while sizes 250 and 300 benefit from an external centrifugal brake, convenient for quickly adjusting spool control.

These adjustments allow the reel to be tuned to the lure weight, wind conditions and desired casting style. The non-removable tension knob adds security during adjustments and reduces the risk of loss during use.

Smooth and consistent mechanics

The SG8 range benefits from DuraGrease, developed to maintain smooth and reliable rotation session after session. The steel bearing system, including two Japanese bearings, ensures smooth operation and pleasant retrieval.
