Cast control without constant adjustments

The key strength of the Draken ONE lies in the CastGuard™ technology, a patented system designed to stabilise the spool without requiring a centrifugal brake, magnetic brake or digital adjustment. Unlike conventional systems, CastGuard™ reacts to the pull of the lure rather than solely to the spool speed.

In practice, this allows casting with greater freedom while greatly reducing the risk of tangles. The angler does not need to select a mode before casting, nor to readjust settings when conditions change or when attaching a different lure.

More fluidity, fewer constraints

This design makes the Draken ONE particularly interesting for fast and repetitive fishing. It maintains healthy casting behaviour, including when the wind picks up, during lure changes or in technical animations such as casting under obstacles. CF40 carbon fibre frame and side plate

The Draken ONE is built on a CF40 carbon fibre frame and side plate. This material achieves an excellent balance between lightness, rigidity and mechanical strength. The structure retains its alignment under stress and contributes to the overall feeling of stability of the reel.

Designed for real and intensive use, this frame aims for durability and consistency rather than simply chasing minimal weight on a spec sheet.

Hamai cut precision mechanics

The reel benefits from a main gear and pinion in brass machined using the Hamai cut process. This precision manufacturing promotes clean, consistent and durable meshing, with very good long-term durability. In use, this translates into a stable retrieve with no feeling of mechanical drift over sessions.

The Draken ONE integrates doubly protected stainless steel bearings, a three-disc carbon drag and a design focused on endurance. The CastGuard™ components have been tested to withstand a minimum of 50,000 casts under sustained conditions of use.

The reel is suited for use in freshwater and can also be used in light saltwater environments, provided appropriate maintenance is carried out after the session.
