The Tenryu Power Master Sand Walker PMS1022S-ML is the most technical and lightweight model in the Sand Walker 2026 range. It is aimed at anglers looking for a rod capable of effectively covering different approaches from beaches, pebble zones and other coastal areas.
Its particularly versatile range allows you to alternate between plugs, minnows, soft lures on jig heads and metal jigs. It is especially pleasant to use with lures in the 20 to 30 g range, while retaining enough sensitivity to work lighter plugs.
An action designed to reduce hook pulls
The high-elasticity blank delivers excellent casting quality while maintaining a sufficiently flexible action to follow the fish's movements.
This progressive action comes into its own during fights with bass and flatfish. Right at the water's edge, when waves and changes in tension increase the risk of hook pulls, the rod effectively absorbs the fish's movements.
High-elasticity blank with C.N.T reinforcement
Tenryu combines a modern blank with its Carbon Nano Tube, C.N.T, integrated at the butt section. This technology preserves a feeling of lightness and liveliness during casting while delivering a significant power reserve when the blank is put under load.
The PMS1022S-ML therefore retains a pleasant feel with lighter lures without lacking response when a powerful fish needs to be brought under control.
Equipment designed for saltwater fishing
The rod features K guides with stainless frames and SiC-S rings, suited for use with braided lines. The DPS reel seat is paired with a carbon finish inspired by the traditional Japanese Nishijin weave.
