The Abu Garcia Beast Insta Spinnerbait rig is a premium, ready-to-use spinnerbait configuration for big predator fishing. Its highly reflective willow leaf blade and supple silicone skirt make it an irresistible attraction for pike and zander.
The Abu Garcia Beast Insta Spinnerbait is a complete spinnerbait rig, directly from the Beast range dedicated to big predator fishing. Designed to be cast and used straight away, it brings together all the elements of a high-performing spinnerbait in a configuration optimised by the engineers of the Swedish brand.
The Abu Garcia Beast series was developed specifically for European big predator anglers. Pike, zander and catfish are in the sights of this range, which covers rods, reels, soft lures and rigs. The Insta Spinnerbait is in keeping with this philosophy: an effective, robust lure that is immediately ready to use with no additional rigging required.
The willow leaf blade offers a hydrodynamic profile that allows fast retrieves and pronounced vibrations detectable by predators at great distances. In murky or coloured water conditions, this vibration is often the attack trigger. The multifilament silicone skirt creates volume and a very natural swimming motion, imitating the movement of a small weakened fish.
The blade-skirt combination is calibrated to deliver the best presentation consistency across a range of retrieve speeds, from slow to fast during active fishing.
The solid steel wire frame and large heavy-duty single hook are sized to withstand fights with trophy pike. The rig geometry prevents snagging in weed beds and obstacles, making the Insta Spinnerbait an excellent prospecting lure in cluttered areas.
The spinnerbait can be fished on a linear retrieve over weed beds, yo-yoed along bottom drop-offs, or using the "slow roll" method to skim deep weed beds. Its weedless design makes it particularly well suited to fishing in dense areas where multi-hook lures are often snagged.
The Insta Spinnerbait is particularly effective in spring when pike move up onto weedy flats, and in autumn during end-of-season gatherings. It also excels in turbid water where the blade vibration compensates for the lack of visibility. In summer, a slow deep retrieve can trigger fine strikes from lethargic zander.
