Control and safety during sea battles
AFTCO Release gloves are specially developed for saltwater fishing requiring control and protection. Ideal for directing a billfish, handling a shock leader or securing an intermediate leader, they ensure a firm and reliable grip in the most demanding situations.
The Diamond-Grip polyurethane coating, directly injected onto the nylon mesh palm, guarantees maximum grip even in wet conditions. This design allows precise control of monofilament and lines under heavy tension.
Enhanced protection and increased durability
In order to effectively protect the hand during critical phases of the fight, the ultra-resistant Armortex® material is positioned along the outside of the hand and on the index finger. This strategic area limits wear and protects against heat caused by wrapping the shock leader.
The Spandura back of the hand dries quickly and provides additional protection while maintaining excellent comfort in use.
Comfort, breathability and precise fit
The foam-backed airy mesh promotes ventilation and limits heat build-up during extended sessions. The Spandura® finger gussets preserve agility and freedom of movement, essential for maintaining precision and dexterity.
The perforated neoprene cuff with Velcro® closure ensures a secure and adjustable fit at the wrist, preventing any slipping during effort.
