Its versatile gear ratio covers a wide range of applications, with a retrieve speed fast enough to maintain contact with the lure while retaining control during presentations.
A robust and lightweight construction
The one-piece aluminum frame provides excellent rigidity, essential for maintaining good mechanical stability during casts, strong retrieves and fights. The graphite sideplates help keep the weight down while improving comfort during long sessions.
This design offers a reel that is both solid, comfortable in the hand and suited to regular predator fishing.
Smooth and durable mechanics
The Speed Spool features a 10-bearing system, with doubly-shielded stainless steel ball bearings. This configuration ensures smooth and consistent rotation, both during casting and retrieval.
The Speed Gears in solid brass are precision-machined on Hamai CNC machines. Combined with the P2 Super Pinion bearing-mounted pinion, they provide excellent mechanical alignment, good power transmission and enhanced durability.

The external recessed MCS magnetic control system allows you to quickly adjust the spool's behavior according to the lure used, wind conditions and desired distance.
The 34 mm U-shaped anodized aluminum spool promotes smooth and consistent line release. It also provides the strength needed to fish with confidence during intensive use.
A reliable drag to control the fight
The Rulon drag offers progressive and consistent power, ideal for staying in control against hard-fighting predators. It secures the fight while maintaining good smoothness under tension.
The 95 mm anodized handle, slightly curved and equipped with paddle grips, provides comfort, leverage and precision during retrieves.
