Performance and behaviour

The Lil Guy 120 was designed to deliver a subtle and precise action, capable of triggering strikes when predators refuse larger lures. Its short articulation allows it to execute a tight oscillation, highly convincing during slow retrieve phases. The fibre tail adds a continuous flutter that reinforces the illusion of a vulnerable baitfish.

Its effectiveness is particularly evident in clear water, in heavily pressured areas or when fish are targeting small prey. It proves deadly on pike, perch and largemouth bass, even when conditions are challenging.

Retrieve techniques

- Slow linear retrieve: reveals the full suppleness of its natural action.
- Light twitches or jerks: widen the glide amplitude and trigger reflex strikes.
- Stop & go: ideal for imitating a hesitant or injured prey.
